Hopkins New U.S. Representative for Goffs | BloodHorse.com

Joe Hopkins is the new United States representative for Goffs the Ireland-based Thoroughbred sales company announced July 5.

Hopkins succeeds Sean Clancy, who recently was added to the Irish Thoroughbred Marketing international agents? roster and will continue to promote Goffs alongside his replacement.

A Kentucky native, Hopkins has worked for Taylor Made Sales Agency, Bluewater Sales, and Tommy Hamilton?s farm, Silverton Hill.?

Hopkins graduated from the Irish National Stud course in 2011 and prior to that spent a sales season as a bloodstock executive at Goffs. He also has represented Goffs at the Hong Kong International Sales in Sha Tin. Hopkins is a recent auctioneering graduate from the Missouri Auction School.

"Joe Hopkins is a strong addition to Goffs' team of international agents," said Goffs chief execuntive Henry Beeby in a release. "His knowledge and experience of, not to mention enthusiasm for, the U.S. and Irish bloodstock industries will be a great asset to Goffs. His focus will be the enhancement of relationships with existing U.S. buyers as well as seeking new buyers to attend the premier sales at Goffs."
